Attorney Kate E. Roberts practices immigration law and is licensed in Massachusetts and New York. She attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst for her undergraduate studies in Resource Economics and Spanish Studies.  She later graduated from New England Law Boston in 2014 and has practiced immigration law in Massachusetts and California for the past eight years. Prior to opening her private practice, she worked in the non-profit sector as a staff attorney at both Catholic Charities of the East Bay and KIND -Kids in Need of Defense, in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Her practice areas focus on humanitarian and family-based immigration relief.  She represents both adults and children in their removal defense proceedings before the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR). Additionally, she represents clients before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in their affirmative family based and special immigrant juvenile status applications. She has extensive experience appearing in probate and family court proceedings in support of guardianship and child custody orders.

Attorney Roberts speaks Spanish fluently and is conversant in Portuguese.  She enjoys teaching and learning foreign languages, as well as international travel.
